You packed on the kitchen floor. At the gate, a cage is waiting. A centimetre over and you are buying a new bag — usually €25–€70 — while the queue watches. That is not fortune. It is a failed measurement against a published size.

Ryanair, easyJet, Wizz and similar gates measure with a rigid frame — not the photo of an overhead bin on the booking page. Fail that frame and the usual charge is €25–€70.

“Cabin bag” is not one size
A higher fare can include a larger bag than the underseat item on a basic ticket. Read the centimetres on your booking. The name on the website is not the test.

Check the airline and the fare before you pack. Ryanair and Wizz underseat classes sit in the 40 × 30 × 20 cm / 40 × 20 × 25 cm family (order of sides varies). easyJet publishes its own cabin sizes, and some fares include a larger bag. Always check your ticket — carriers change the fine print.

Airline sizer notes
Ryanair / Wizz underseat class. Product target is 40 × 30 × 20 cm external max. Carriers sometimes list the same envelope with sides in a different order. Confirm the figure on your ticket.
easyJet. Some fares include a larger cabin bag. This SKU is for the small / underseat use case — not a stand-in for a bigger included allowance.
Other LCCs. Compare the published personal-item or underseat size to 40 × 30 × 20 cm. If your ticket is smaller, do not rely on this bag.

If a listed sizer refuses a correctly packed bag after sample dims are locked, the terms apply. This is not insurance against an airline fee, and it is not a partnership with any carrier.

Shipping & returns
EU/UK warehouse only
Orders ship from a warehouse in the EU or the UK. We are not offering worldwide fulfilment at launch. Duties, if any, depend on your destination inside that area and will be stated at checkout once Stripe is live.
14-day returns
Unused bags can come back within 14 days of delivery. Statutory rights in Ireland and the EU still apply. See the terms for the stub process until the returns address is confirmed.

Will it fit my airline?
SS-USB-001 is designed for the underseat class used by Ryanair, Wizz and similar LCCs — target external max 40 × 30 × 20 cm [confirm from sample]. That is a design target, not an airline approval. easyJet and other carriers publish their own cabin sizes, and those change with the fare. Check the centimetres on your ticket. We are not affiliated with any airline.
What’s the sizer guarantee?
If a correctly packed SizerSafe bag does not fit a listed airline’s published underseat sizer, the sizer guarantee terms apply. Sample measurements are still being confirmed, so the live guarantee starts once those figures are locked. We do not, in this stub, repay the gate fee itself.
Where does it ship from?
Fulfilment is from an EU/UK warehouse only. We do not offer worldwide dispatch at launch. Delivery estimates will be confirmed with the first stock run.
Returns?
Unused items can be returned within 14 days of delivery, subject to the terms. You also keep statutory consumer rights in Ireland and the EU.
